MT-10 is a great bike - I wouldn't necessarily fear the wind issue. It's not that bad unless you are trying to go 110 mph for the entire stretch lol. I have an FZ09, had an FZ07 before it, and take highway trips to visit family (120 miles away) also hit fun rides on the freeways etc and if I cruise around 80-85 its not terrible.
