Ford Fiesta Club. 1.0 ecoboost down on power, no codes. I bought a 2013 1.0 with a known blown head gasket. The car did drive but with a lot if steam from the exhaust. I fitted a new head. The car starts on the button, has good compression test readings (150psi) and all appears good. However it is down on power.

The bat is not bad, ok, but might be on its' way out, especially if weather there is similar to here. We only get 3 years on (even good) bats here. Less than 3 years is also no surprise. Aditionally, the corrosion does compound the problem of bat and Alt aging. Corrosion on the terminals is obvious

Ron, if you want to have a go at reseting battery monitoring, just do as follows. Ign on for 10 secs, press rear foglighr switch 5 times, press hazzard switch 3 times, wait 10 secs. battery light flashes. Ign off. use car, and see if thst fixes.

There is (at least on the Mk2.5) two separate "Ignition" cables coming from the ignition switch. One goes to feed an ignition sense line on a module, and the other feeds directly into the fuse box (ignition rails). It is plausible that one is sticking on, if you have a standard key ignition switch.

All I have a Ford Focus MK3 1.0 ecoBoost 125hp which no crank and no start first when I turned key it was clicking so I have check starter relay and starter but all fine when I give 12V direct to starter relay starter run. Plastic cover of PCM was broken , I don’t have current on spark plug and ignition coils. All I can say about the turbo with my 1.0 Focus is that the turbo is working/in boost CONSTANTLY!!! Now that I have my tablet and Torque Pro hooked up, I can see the boost in real time. This turbo is working non stop at high psi and wouldn't surprise me if there are issues down the road. Driving back from work i stopped at a light and the car switched off as usual (auto start/stop), time to go the battery dies and can wont bump start got someone to jump it. Now almost home the car goes into limp mode, pulled over restarted it and it drove like normal till i switch it off and tried to start it this morning.

Posted May 31, 2020. and they switched the rear seals too, the ones that were originally installed fail and leak and cause a dry clutch to become a really slippy, jerky, crazy wet clutch lol. (this happend with mine, 2015 TI).

We had a 2.0 Ecoboost fusion before, and it would smoke a puff under acceleration, but it was not continuous during hard acceleration like this car. It looked like oil smoke too, not the black stuff you get out of DI engines.

Your voltage is very low (should be 13.2 to 13.6V), but your battery is fine and healthy. Put it back on the car and give it a full 24 hour charge with a smart charger.

Just tried mine the fan doesn't come on ,i would say its a faulty coolant sensor saying engine is hot,coolant sensor from £10. My Fiesta 1.0 ecoboost titanium 2014 30kmiles is serviced by me last 3yrs,exhaust is starting to blow ulrADBc.
