Foolishly we assumed the car had Bluetooth and iPod integration, or at least some way to play our own music outside of the standard disc changer in the glovebox.

Boston, MA. My Photo Gallery: 0. I had this same exact issue when i bought an MMI off ebay. Turns out it was a corrupted HDD and the unit would not boot into QNX (our MMI systems utilize QNX RTOS). First you need to check if you have any type of liquid on the MMI control module in the center console, that can cause a break in the system. (music interruption every 5 seconds) the Bluetooth too. The amp is the most common problem for the Q7 that can cause the system to cut off every 5 second .

I think it's; press and hold "car" the selection dial in the center and the button just to the top right of the center dial at the same time for about 3-5 second and release. The screen should go black and restarts a second later.
